Greene King / Popcorn PR


We were tasked with designing and building a spectacular cooking station fit for Greene King’s most famous Landlord, Tom Kerridge, as the centrepiece for an event celebrating Greene King’s “To The Pub” campaign and brand refresh. The brief was as simple as “imagine the setup for a superstar DJ… but with hobs instead of decks and a superstar chef instead of a DJ!”

“The Hoppodrome” was built on 3 old oak beer barrels. The setup included sound, lighting and smoke effects, not to mention state of the art cooking equipment signed off by Michelin starred chef Tom Kerridge. We then took over The Crabtree pub in London’s Fulham for the event, which saw Tom take to the hobs to mix up some gastronomic delights, feeding a collection of hungry influencers and journalists.
